Q&A

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: That’s a tough one. I genuinely have several favorite parts. At the core, I love building culture, teams, and communities. Whether it’s internal or external teams, I enjoy identifying people’s strengths and aligning them in ways that allow everyone to elevate one another.

I’m also deeply motivated by building housing communities that have a real, positive impact on people’s lives. Seeing how thoughtful development can improve the daily experience of our residents and create a ripple effect throughout the broader community is incredibly rewarding and never gets old.

Q: What upcoming projects or deals are you most excited about?

A: Right now, we are focused on drive-to markets across the Midwest. It’s exciting to build outside of Omaha and collaborate with new municipalities, architects, engineers, and partners while bringing our development approach into new communities.

Q: What is your favorite part of the development process?

A: I really enjoy the lease-up phase and seeing how residents actually use the real estate we’ve created. From in-home design choices to shared amenities, I like observing what resonates with tenants and whether it aligns with our original vision for the property and resident experience.

Q: What is something you’re passionate about outside of work?

I’m very passionate about health and biohacking my lifestyle. I spend an inordinate amount of time and energy optimizing how I live so I can feel and perform at my best. I also love reading, ancient history documentaries and yoga.

I also really value time with my family, whether that’s sharing nutritious meals, hiking and walking together, or traveling and experiencing new places.
