Gretna, NE – On October 15th, Metonic broke ground on The Collection at Gretna Landing — one of the first build-to-rent communities in Gretna, Nebraska. Mayor Mike Evans, Gretna city officials, an project partners braved a rainy October afternoon to witness this pivotal project milestone. Hosted by Metonic and General Contractor Dicon, the event featured speeches by Metonic President Kassie Inness, Mayor Evans, and Access Commercial representative Rick Kiolbasa.
Located within Access Commercial’s Gretna Landing master development, the Collection at Gretna Landing will feature 110 freestanding homes designed to combine the comfort and privacy of single-family living with the convenience of renting. The community will include maintenance-free landscaping, a dog park, and a mix of two- and three-bedroom cottages, alongside three- and four-bedroom homes with attached garages.

The development is conveniently located off the rapidly growing 192nd Street and Highway 370 corridor in Gretna. This mixed-use area, which will soon include a Nebraska Medicine Health Center, features newly built retail, banking, and sports facilities. “We’re excited to bring the ‘live’ piece to this ‘live work play’ community,” Metonic President Kassie Inness said.
The Collection at Gretna Landing represents a new chapter in housing for the growing Gretna community – one that blends the comfort of homeownership with the convenience of modern rental living. With the first homes scheduled for completion in Summer 2026 and the project set to be completed in 2027, this thoughtfully designed neighborhood will soon welcome residents to experience a new way to build a life in Gretna. Metonic is proud to partner with general contractor Dicon Corporation, architect Shive-Hattery, engineering firm Lamp Rynearson, and financing partner American National Bank to bring this innovative build-to-rent community to life.
