The Collection at Elkhorn

Metonic and APOGEE have rebranded their build-to-rent development to The Collection at Elkhorn. The team designed the new branding to appeal to the growing demographic of families, professionals, and empty nesters seeking flexible, independent suburban living.

The name ‘The Collection’ was chosen to highlight the blend of privacy and community build-to-rent living provides. “Rather than a single consolidated building or an assortment of random houses, our community is a carefully curated collection of 134 unique detached homes,” says Metonic Marketing Manager Jamie Harvey.

Metonic has developed a brand guide for signage vendors, web designers, and property staff to use to create a single, unified brand experience.

A collection is a set of complementary objects created or brought together with intentionality. The Collection at Elkhorn build-to-rent neighborhood is curated with the same expert eye and attention to detail that a skilled curator, artist, or fashion house would apply to their latest collections.

“The Collection” brand evokes a feeling of luxury and sophistication while appealing to the desire to belong to a community–to be a part of the collection.

Why Rebrand?

Metonic chose to rebrand the community from ‘Ravello Homes’ to ‘The Collection at Elkhorn’ for a variety of reasons:

To Avoid Confusion

With the Ravello 192 apartment community just across the street, rebranding the property will prevent potential residents and their guests from accidentally searching for, emailing, or navigating to the wrong location.

To Create a Build-to-Rent Brand

Choosing a different name will allow the community to differentiate itself from the Apartminum product line and create a new BTR-specific brand.

To Capture Leads

Including the keyphrase “Elkhorn” in the name will capture the attention of potential residents looking to find a home in the area.
