Metonic is proud to announce the acquisition of three apartment complexes: Haven Apartments (formerly known as Wyndham Heights) and South View, both in Ames, IA, and Vita 72 (formerly known as Place 72) in Omaha, NE. The three properties total 212 apartment homes added to Metonic’s portfolio.
Haven Apartments was built in 1992 and South View in 1977. Haven and South View are both located near major employers, retailers, and Iowa State University. Ames has proven to be an enduring secondary market with strong economic returns. Metonic has expertise in Ames, already owning apartments in the market.
Vita 72 was built in 1973 and is ideally situated within a high-growth corridor with excellent proximity to major traffic arterials and Aksarben Village. There are more than 4,200 businesses providing over 20,000 jobs within a 2-mile radius of the property. Metonic will improve Vita 72 through a substantive value-add program including both interior and exterior improvements. Metonic already owns 395 apartments within a 1.5-mile radius of Vita 72.
