Metonic Real Estate Solutions has purchased the most apartment homes in Omaha since 2019, a total of 629 apartments at a volume of $83.2M, according to a May 2021 Costar report.
Metonic takes advantage of the value that the Omaha Metropolitan Area brings to partners. In the last two years, Metonic has purchased Torello on Maple, Tara Villas, Fairlane at Aksarben, Triangle Apartments, The Bend at Gretna, and Jasper Place, all within the surrounding area. These acquisitions were off-market transactions completed directly with sellers based upon relationships formed over several years.
The Metonic team has not only acquired several properties in the area but has built as well. Ravello 192, Latitude 41, and the upcoming Ascend on 75 bring an additional 479 apartment homes to the Omaha area.
Over 20% of the Omaha population is between 20 – 34 years old, a prime renter age range. Additionally, an increasing number of retirees are opting to downsize, sell their home, and move to apartments. These factors have resulted in a positive rent growth over the past 5 years.
