Q: What aspect of your role excites you the most?
A: I’m most excited about the opportunity to connect with our current investors and build strong relationships. Investor relations is such a dynamic part of my role, and I enjoy hearing their perspectives and understanding their goals. Additionally, I’m thrilled to work alongside such a talented and experienced team here at Metonic. There’s so much to learn from their expertise, and it’s inspiring to collaborate on meaningful projects.
Q: What are you most looking forward to at Metonic over the next few months?
A: Over the next few months, I’m particularly looking forward to the upcoming development projects that we have in the pipeline. It’s exciting to play a role in bringing these projects to life and seeing the positive impact they’ll have on the communities we serve. I’m also eager to dive deeper into our capital-raising efforts, as this is such an important aspect of fueling our growth and achieving our long-term vision.
Q: What brought you from your role at Hines in San Francisco to the Midwest?
A: I was drawn to the opportunity to join Metonic and contribute to the team during this exciting period of growth and expansion. It’s been rewarding to be part of a company with such a clear vision and strong sense of purpose. On a personal level, my partner Sam and I were also excited to be closer to family and friends. Both of our parents are here in the Midwest, and my sister and many of my closest friends are in Omaha.
While I joke that my favorite part about being back is having easy access to Runza, the truth is that I love being close to my family and friends again.
Q: What is something you are passionate about outside of work?
A: I’m passionate about cooking and love spending time experimenting in the kitchen. For me, cooking is both creative and relaxing, and I enjoy trying out new flavors and techniques. I’m particularly drawn to making Indian dishes, as I love the bold spices and complex flavors. I also enjoy making homemade pastas and sauces from scratch, as well as hearty, comforting soups. It’s always satisfying to share these dishes with friends and family.
This or That?
Cats or Dogs?
Definitely dogs! I have a Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix named Hazel, and she’s an absolute joy. She has such a sweet personality and keeps me smiling with her playful and energetic nature.
Beach or Mountains?
Mountains, without a doubt. Growing up, my family spent summers in Breckenridge, Colorado, and those trips hold some of my favorite memories. We’d go hiking, explore the beautiful scenery, and enjoy all the outdoor activities that come with mountain life. To this day, the mountains feel like a place where I can reset and recharge.
