Get to know one of Metonic’s asset managers, Christian Marsh. Christian oversees a portfolio of assets with a data-driven approach. With experience in real estate financial planning and analysis, he offers insights into financial modeling, investment reporting, and other key analytics. He also collaborates with property management partners to optimize operational performance and communicates with leadership on potential sale or refinancing opportunities.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: I appreciate the chance to learn something new every day from some of the best in the business. I also feel empowered to make a meaningful impact at Metonic and for our stakeholders.
Q: What’s one lesson you’ve learned in this industry that has stuck with you?
A: This industry will always keep you on your toes. From dealing with storm damage to adjusting to market trends, there is always something new to keep track of. Just when you think you have something figured out, a curveball will be thrown at you, so be ready to adjust.
Q: What is something you’re passionate about outside of work?
A: My wife, Christine, and I love traveling, and our goal is to visit every continent except Antarctica.

I’m a morning person because I’m most focused and productive early in the day. It’s great to get things done before the world gets busy, and it keeps me energized for the rest of the day!
