Forbes recently released their annual Best Cities for Renters list,  featuring two Nebraska cities in the top 5. Forbes selected the top cities by calculating data from Apartments.com, weather and disaster risk, park information, and more. Omaha landed #2 on the list, and Lincoln at #4.

Omaha

Omaha was scored 842 out of 1,000, just two points below Plano at #1. Forbes credited Omaha’s affordable, roomy apartments, access to parks and recreation, low crime and disaster rates, and revitalization efforts as the reasoning for the high placement.
