In August 2025, Metonic acquired Northside Square Apartments and Lakeview Apartments in Columbus, Nebraska. The acquisitions aligned with Metonic’s value-add strategy targeting sound assets in supply-constrained markets where undermanagement and deferred maintenance have left value on the table.

Community Improvements
Both properties were previously managed by a small-scale owner-operator with limited oversight and reinvestment. Since the acquisition, Metonic has made operational changes and capital improvements across the Columbus portfolio. These upgrades range from practical improvements, such as more efficient windows, to resident-facing updates, including repainted siding at Lakeview and a redone clubhouse at Northside Square.

Unit Renovations
Metonic’s property management partner, Seldin Company, is implementing targeted unit improvements at turn at both properties. Together with the building upgrades performed by Metonic’s construction team, these unit upgrades are designed to improve the resident experience, increase NOI, and protect the property’s long-term value.
