The Metonic and Apogee teams have been extremely busy this year. With the addition of new developments and acquisitions come new team members! Meet the latest additions to the Metonic and Apogee crew:
Christian Marsh – Senior Real Estate Analyst
As Senior Real Estate Analyst, Christian supports the Asset Management department with all aspects of analyzing the Metonic investment portfolio and evaluating the strategic direction of all assets. He also provides insight into the company’s financial modeling, lender reporting, systems and data management, and various other analytics. He comes to Metonic with previous experience in real estate acquisitions, accounting, and leasing analysis. Christian earned his BS in Finance from Iowa State University.
Casey Smith – Associate Asset Manager
Casey provides asset management oversight for a portfolio of multifamily assets from Nebraska and Iowa, consisting of nearly 4,000 units. Her role includes providing direction to portfolio business plans and project/operational oversite. Casey has over eight years of multifamily real estate experience, specializing in affordable housing. Casey earned a degree in Humanities from Louisiana State University at Shreveport and an MS in Organizational Leadership, and MBA from Belhaven University.
Tammie Dodge – Development Project Manager
As the Development Project Manager, Tammie oversees development entitlement, pre-construction, and construction administration services for the Apogee team. Tammie has over 20 years of experience in construction project management, working with several non-profits, including Habitat for Humanity and The 712 Initiative. Tammie earned her BS in Community Health Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
Molly Laws – Investor Relations & Operations Associate
As Investor Relations and Operations Associate, Molly supports the Investor Relations, Finance, and Asset Management teams by leading initiatives to develop first-class Investor Reporting along with maintaining databases, systems, and software across the organization. She will also oversee investor and stakeholder inquiries. Prior to joining Metonic, Molly worked as a Finance Associate at Wells Fargo. She earned a degree in Finance and Management from the University of Northern Iowa.
Zach Humphrey – Strategic Analyst
As Strategic Analyst, Zach works closely with the finance and asset management teams to assist in management of commercial leasing portfolio and operational management. Zach was previously an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Marine Corps in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where he managed and trained subordinates to perform intelligence operations. Zach earned his real estate and economics degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Ben Velinsky – Senior VP of Construction Management
As SVP of Construction Management, Ben oversees all construction services for Metonic and Apogee development projects. Ben has been a professional in the construction industry for over 25 years, with an emphasis in ground-up multi-family construction throughout the Midwest. Prior to accepting this new role with Metonic and Apogee, Ben worked with several Nebraska-based general contractors and consulted for development firms.
Alyssa Ossler – Paralegal & Administrative Director
As Paralegal & Administrative Director, Alyssa provides paralegal services for the Legal Department, including closing administration, document management and quality control. She also oversees the operations of the Metonic office, including internal communication, scheduling, and inventory. Alyssa obtained her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
