This month’s “Meet Metonic (& APOGEE)” spotlight is Amber Davis, Director of Commercial Asset Management. Amber is involved in the comprehensive oversight of the Metonic portfolio of mixed-use commercial investments, including but not limited to, oversight of leasing strategy and operational procedures, thorough reporting, streamlining acquisition and disposition of assets and maximizing profitability in between. Amber is the newest addition to the Metonic team, joining us at the beginning of April.
Q: What was your position prior to joining Metonic?
A: Before joining Metonic, I was a commercial property manager in Chicago overseeing a portfolio of highly visible, luxury mixed-use assets in the downtown market.
Q: What is your favorite thing about your role at Metonic?
A: I truly respect the supportive culture and collaborative atmosphere within Metonic. I am surrounded by highly intelligent and driven professionals daily and I know without a doubt, there is no “I” in the Metonic “team”.
Q: What is something that you’re passionate about outside of work?
A: I love cooking, travelling, and exploring different cultures. I have often combined my passions by immersing myself in cooking lessons abroad during my travels. I also make it a point to regularly dedicate time to investing in others, whether through volunteerism or mentoring.

Coffee on work days to keep me going, and tea on a sun-filled patio, or cozied by the fireplace to unwind.

I text out of convenience, but I definitely prefer phone calls.

If I had to pick between the two, I’d say books but my true guilty past time is HGTV or Food Network! It’s always on even just as “background noise” at my house!
